We work together with experienced suppliers during the production of our watches. High-quality materials play an important role here. The sapphire crystal set in 316L stainless steel protects a high-quality quartz movement from the Swiss manufacturer RONDA® and also guarantees a crystal clear view of the dial and hands.

As reliable as a Swiss watch.
In order to meet our quality standard, we only use movements from the Swiss manufacturer RONDA® for our watches. The heart of the watch can thus work reliably and precisely to do justice to the exclusive design.

To protect the inside of our watches with the high-quality RONDA® movement optimally against damage, we use sapphire crystal. This offers optimum scratch resistance thanks to its extreme hardness. This guarantees long-lasting protection for the hands, dial and movement. It is much more durable than the mineral glass normally used.

The case of our watch is made of 316L stainless steel and is therefore of significant quality. The high-quality alloy of stainless steel makes the watch particularly resistant to the cold and heat. Never the less, the stainless steel housing offers the optimal basis for a high-quality IP coating (ion plating), which is applied via a PVD process. This enables us to apply a second high-quality metal layer in gold, pink gold and black. Thanks to this special surface coating, our watches are even better protected against wear and corrosion.

All of our watches have a water resistance of 5 ATM. This means that the watches have been tested up to an atmospheric pressure of 5 bar. They can therefore be easily kept on in everyday life, during sports and also when washing hands. However, we would advise against swimming, taking a longer shower or bathing with the watch, especially due to the leather straps.

Our Straps

Handmade – MADE IN GERMANY

Exclusivity is also reflected in our straps. In a traditional factory in Germany our straps are produced with great care, highest quality and attention to detail. Selected materials are assembled by hand under the provisions of the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. The high-quality leather is formed into our elegant suspenders using the Rembordé technique.

This technology protects the leather from sweat, perfume, cream and other substances – resulting in durability and reduced wear. Since our straps are made exclusively of ecologically tanned leather, care should also be taken. Both clasp and logo are finished with IP coating and are also manufactured in Germany. Each strap is therefore unique.

The Leather

We use particularly high-quality leather for the production of our suspenders. The leather is processed in German production, whereby we attach particular importance to environmental and allergy friendliness. Only ecological tanning agents are used for tanning instead of chemicals. Throughout the entire production process, we attach great importance to sustainability and respectful treatment of people, animals and the environment – without having to forego quality features.

Our Nappa leather is a chrome-free and vegetable-tanned leather. Its discreet, elegant appearance and pleasant feel are the result of a manufacturing process that combines traditional tannery with modern technical processes. Only paints without heavy metals are used here. Everything that is harmful to health or the environment is dispensed with.

The leather of the ANTIQUE collection has a large-pored and natural surface. This makes the leather breathable and always pleasantly tempered on contact with the skin. At the same time, the surface is sensitive to liquids and damp dirt. The leather with pull-up effect is dyed with synthetic dyes and without the use of heavy metals. All colours are IVN certified.

General:

Natural leather has low maintenance requirements. Occasional wiping with a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient to remove dust and dirt from the leather. The use of chemical cleaning agents damages the leather. Similarly, excessive use of leather care products is more harmful than useful.

Increase service life:

After approx. 2 – 4 years (depending on the degree of use) it is recommended to use refreshing agents sparingly. It gives back substance to the leather, which it loses over the years. Cleaning and maintenance can therefore lead to an extended service life. In the following years, the refreshment can be repeated at intervals of one to two years.

Important:

· Never treat stains with strong solvents (stain remover, turpentine, etc.)
· Do not treat the straps with unsuitable products, e.g. shoe polish, cosmetic cream, etc.
· The leather can change slightly due to direct sunlight

The straps get signs of wear over time and some leathers become a little lighter, if changes (scratches, abrasions, stains, fading etc.) become visible, one should act in time.

The elegant design makes our watches the perfect companion for every occasion. Which band you want to combine with which watch is entirely up to you. With the two special models ILLUME and NIGHT, we have completed our simple and elegant design. Thanks to the quick-change spring bar, each of our watch straps can be assembled and disassembled within seconds.

No tools are required. Thanks to the uniform width of 18 mm, any conceivable combination can be created. The model CASUAL GOLD or CASUAL SILVER can be combined with one of our straps via our configurator. The models ILLUME and NIGHT are not configurable due to our design ideas in our online shop.
